Transformations conference

April 7-10 2026 we will organize a conference on transformations during the Mesolithic and Neolithic. The conference will be held in Groningen (the Netherlands) and will last ~ 4 days. Apart from plenary oral and poster sessions, presenters are invited to contribute a paper to the book “Transformations” that will be published in 2027.

The ”Transformations” conference is organized as (final) part of the Finding Suitable Grounds project. This project was funded by NWO, and executed by a consortium of University of Groningen, Utrecht University, BIAX, RAAP, University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and the Free University of Brussels.
